Nutracheck Accessibility Statement

Introduction

The European Accessibility Act (the ‘Act’) is a law that aims to improve the accessibility of certain products and services which are provided to EU consumers which may have long term physical, mental and sensory disabilities or impairments. This statement sets out the ways in which NutraTech Limited ("Nutracheck", "we") is meeting the requirements set out in the Act.

This accessibility statement applies to:

Accessibility compliance – current status

We are committed to making sure our digital platforms are inclusive and usable for everyone and have assessed our compliance with the relevant requirements under the Act. However, parts of our Website and Mobile Apps are not yet fully accessible. Examples include:

Website

  • Alt text: In respect of some historic content, some images used as links lack descriptive alternative text. This will not be an issue in respect of content created following the date of this Accessibility Statement.
  • Headings: In respect of limited historic content, some pages skip heading levels (e.g. from <h1> to <h3>) or contain headings with no associated content. This can disrupt navigation for assistive technologies or lead screen reader users to search for information that isn't there. This will not be an issue in respect of content created following the date of this Accessibility Statement.

Mobile Applications

  • Form fields: When users make mistakes in form fields, errors may sometimes not be announced.
  • Text resizing: When users increase text size at the operating system level, app text may not always resize, making some content hard to read for users with visual impairments.
  • Navigation: Menu and modal navigation may not always be predictable (e.g. selecting ‘My Meals’ may open a modal that cannot be dismissed via TalkBack swipe gestures).
  • Labelling: Some buttons may not be clearly described making it hard for screen reader users to understand the button’s purpose.

Content not within the scope of the accessibility regulations

Some of our content does not meet accessibility standards set out in the Act.

For example:

  • Content published on Nutracheck’s platforms prior to 28 June 2025.
  • Content on Nutracheck’s platforms which has been archived and which will not be edited after 28 June 2025.
  • Content from Nutracheck’s platforms which is managed, editorially controlled or published by third parties (e.g. content which appears on third party websites and platforms like Apple News).

What we’re doing to improve

We are reviewing the issues listed above on an ongoing basis and will seek to ensure that rectification takes place as soon as is reasonably practicable. We will partner with external accessibility specialists to audit our platforms and guide fixes.
